1. Overview
SAS Path Labs provides digital diagnostic booking, home sample collection, lab processing, and report delivery services. This policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect information across our user app, collection partner app, admin panel, and lab partner panel.
2. Information We Collect

- Payment method, payment status, invoice, and transaction references.
- Prescription files, sample status, lab processing status, and test reports.
- Device notification token for sending booking and report updates.
- Location data for serviceability, address capture, and collection partner tracking during active orders.
3. How We Use Information
- To create and manage diagnostic test bookings.
- To assign nearby lab and collection partners.
- To help collection partners reach the user's address and submit samples to the lab.
- To verify sample collection and lab handover using OTP.
- To generate, store, preview, and download diagnostic reports.
- To send important notifications such as booking accepted, sample collected, and report ready.
- To provide support, security, audit logs, and operational monitoring.
4. Location Data
Users may use location to select or confirm their sample collection address. Collection partners may use foreground and background location during active collection orders so the system can update pickup and lab handover progress. Background location is not used for advertising or selling data.
5. Reports and Medical Data
Reports and uploaded PDFs are used only for providing diagnostic services to the user and authorized lab/admin teams. Access is limited to authenticated users and operational staff who need it for the order workflow.
6. Data Sharing
We share information only with parties required to complete the diagnostic service, including assigned collection partners, lab partners, payment providers, hosting providers, SMS/notification providers, and support/admin teams. We do not sell personal data.
7. Security
We use authentication, role-based access, secure storage, HTTPS APIs, and controlled report download links to protect user information. No method of electronic storage or transmission is completely risk-free, but we take reasonable steps to protect data.
8. Data Retention
We keep booking, report, payment, and support records as long as necessary for service delivery, legal, tax, audit, and healthcare record requirements. Users may contact us for account or data-related requests.
